He said these troop increases and those by allies, including Britain, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Australia, Germany, Denmark and the Czech Republic, have resulted in what he calls a "quiet surge" in Afghanistan.I guess Canada's 2500 troops (the fifth largest deployed force) and nearly 100 deaths in country are not worthy of mention by CNN (or is it Bush?) and Romania's 550 troops or Denmark's 780 soldiers are. It's amazing how America's closest neighbour gets over looked so often.
