Pipes, bricks and trees
These pipes are a gas. Though the gas fitter who did them didn't know a right angle from a donut apparently.
These and most images from the past 2-3 years on my blog are available as prints.

Long Hair
One additional image from when I shot Nadine last month. When we reviewed it, she really liked the way her long hair was whipping around so I thought I would post it. Look forward to photographing her again sometime soon.

Katy and the Bridge, Pt Two
Continuation of the previous post with Katy. These were in shade for the most part so I intentionally used more fill flash which made for a completely different vibe than the other images which were in direct sunlight. I didn't want them tacked on to the end of the last post and perhaps not given the exposure I think they deserve.
This sequence was more entertaining as there was a dad trying to fish while letting his small kids scramble out of view under the bridge and probably watch us. Ah poor parenting. I hope for another creative with Katy soon. Yes, Katy-chan, that is a hint.:)

Katy and the Bridge, Pt One
Katy and I have known eachother for a few years now and despite talking about getting together again for photos on a couple of occasions, and chatting frequently, we had not been able to do a creative for a while. The last time I photographed her was in 2008 which seems eons ago!
A couple of weeks ago she was nearby so we decided to meet up and here are the results. She is always a pleasure to shoot and is always always kawaii. Domo arigatou gozaimasu, Katy-chan!
Part 2 will be in the next post.

The Windy Day
I had the opportunity to shoot with Nadine again a couple of weeks ago. The last time was a freezing cold day in the winter. This time turned out to be very windy. To the point that I struggled to maintain my balance at times and her hair was going everywhere and with brief momentary exceptions could not be controlled unless she turned her face into the wind: think a wind machine on max and no off switch. :)
Those who have posed for me in the past know I can be a bit of a perfectionist with hairs out of place and so on. So the old me wouldn't have even considered shooting this day let alone suggested doing it, and if I did, I would have got frustrated, and at the very least would have done it all in black and white... :) But I enjoyed the challenge and knew Nadine's long hair would be fun to shoot in the natural wind machine.
And as a bonus, I got to save a couple of tiny tiny fish that were flopping about in the shallow water in the above shot. Changing my ways a little saved lives. :)
